Munjirin Instructs Potholes to Be Repaired Immediately

East Jakarta Mayor, Munjirin, instructed his ranks to be responsive in repairing potholes as an effort to anticipate an accident.

"I already instructed Public Works and Transportation Sub-agencies to collaborate in handling potholes," he said, Monday (2/9).

Munjirin explained heavy rains in Jakarta have eroded several roads, causing damage. Therefore, relevant technical units have been asked to be more responsive in anticipating any untoward incidents resulting from these conditions.

Central Jakarta Public Works Patched 1,017 Potholes

"Transportation sub-agency will secure the traffic while the Public Works Sub-agency is repairing the potholes," he explained.

Munjirin requested heads of urban village and district to collect potholes data. Then the data will be reported to Public Works Sub-agency. The District's Yellow troops will handle the works.

"Transportation Sub-agency is able to give mark on the potholes," he stated.
